Freckles & Yarn

I spent a whole evening naming my sons Beavers jumpe, tops and neckchief. I don’t enjoy sewing in his name into things but I does need to be done. Sewing the neckchief was tough and the material was thick and I didn’t want the stitches to show through on the front. The things we do for our children.

Now you maybe asking why I was doing this. It is because he is going on Christmas camp this weekend. This is his first Beaver camo and he is very excited. I’m a little nervous as its the first time he will be sleeping away from us or with a family member.

I haven’t done much sewing lately as knitting has taken a forefront. I have a few sewing projects I want to do I just need to find the time to do them.
